Globes

What can I say? People just love globes. Many years back, at my former employer, we built an 8 foot rotating globe that weighed about 1000 pounds. I think that we made more money renting the thing than we did making it in the first place. I've built quite more than a dozen globes over the years; from a 30 inch brass globe to a couple of 16 foot diameter globes that were built to enclose seating areas in theme restaurant bars.

The continents on the big globes were programmed and cut out using my CNC plasma cutter.

I even have a wind-powered kinetic globe in my back yard.

Everybody loves globes.
